Kath Standage

Partner LLB

Kath has been a partner with Harmans since 2004, after joining us in 1993.  She leads a commercial and finance team specialising in banking and finance, and commercial and company law.

Kath acts for a number of banks and lending institutions, advising on commercial lending transactions and the structuring of securities.  She also undertakes a large amount of debt recovery work throughout New Zealand, advising various creditors on the most cost effective manner to recover debts.

Kath's particular area of interest is the Personal Property Securities Act 1999 and the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003.

When she's not working hard at Harmans, Kath can be found cooking and entertaining her friends, out in her vege garden, or even on the side of one of our beautiful Canterbury rivers, fly fishing.
