Colin Abernethy

Associate LLB (Hons), BA (Political Science)

The recipient of a 2006 Harmans' summer clerk scholarship, Colin completed his double degree in Law with honours and a BA, majoring in Politicial Science at Canterbury University at the end of 2006.  He joined Harmans the following year.

Colin is a member of the Family Law Committee of the Canterbury-Westland branch of the New Zealand Law Society.

Colin is a keen sportsman, having captained and played for many representative hockey teams.  He plays golf and is a keen tramper, and also enjoys music, movies and spending time with family and friends.
