Robin Standage

Consultant LLB (Otago), LLM (Hons)(Cant)

Robin joined Harmans in 1967 and became a partner in 1968.  He retired from the partnership at the end of October 2010 and remains a consultant with the firm.

Robin's main areas of expertise are in company and commercial law, banking and finance and securities law.

His depth of experience is an asset to Harmans.  Robin worked on the flotation of several public companies and has acted for a major retail bank  as well as major finance companies around New Zealand.  He has been a director of several listed companies, and chairman of two.

Robin has acted for a number of significant joint ventures, closely held companies and partnerships and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and transactions in the field of tertiary education.

In his spare time, Robin is a keen golfer and fisherman and he enjoys travel.
