COVID-19: How we operate under the different alert levels

Level 3 & 4

Harmans will operate remotely during normal business hours. While our office will temporarily close for the required period, we will be working from home and keeping in touch via email, telephone and, where possible meeting with clients and other professionals remotely, using Phone, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Facebook Messenger or Facetime.  Calls on our direct dial lines will be diverted to our mobile phones or home landlines and those made to our main office will be answered by our receptionist who will take messages or, where possible, divert calls to the right person.

Level 2

Harmans’ physical office will open during normal business hours. All of our solicitors, legal executives and support staff can be contacted in the usual way. Alternatively, please contact our reception staff on (03) 379 7835 and they will be able to direct you to someone who can assist. We are taking steps to ensure that our office remains safe for our clients, staff and visitors, so please wear a mask when you visit us. We ask that if you are feeling unwell, contact us to reschedule your appointment.

Level 1

Harmans’ physical office will open during normal business hours. You are encouraged to use the NZ COVID Tracer App and hand sanitise upon entry to our office. 

If you are unable to meet in person or would prefer not to visit our premises at this time then we will work with you to meet your needs by utilising other contact methods such as video calling, phone or email.
