About

Charlotte joined Harmans in January 2022, after completing her studies at the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws. Her academic achievements and great attitude secured her a place at Harmans, where she began her career as a law clerk. Charlotte was Admitted to the Bar and became a Lawyer in September 2022. 

She has quickly established herself as a valuable member of the family law team who specialise in:

  • relationship property and spousal maintenance disputes.
  • the protection of assets prior to a relationship.
  • the division of assets upon separation including personally owned assets, companies and trusts. 
  • care of children, guardianship and family violence disputes.

Charlotte is also a Supervised Legal Aid Provider.

Charlotte is actively involved in the legal community and is a member of Canterbury Women’s Law Association, New Zealand Law Society Family Law Section and Family Courts Association of New Zealand (Christchurch). She is committed to keeping up to date with changes in the legal industry. 

In addition to her legal expertise, Charlotte has a keen interest in film and is completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Film Studies, alongside her work at Harmans.
